Brendan and I went for our first 4wding and camping expedition in the FJ40. We went to Wollemi National Park which is better known as the bush near Clarence (Zig Zag Railway) in Lithgow. It's also home to The Glow Worm Tunnel, Lost City, Sunnyside Lookout, Wolgans Gap and the old mining town of Newnes.
The reason we went there is because of The Powerline Track!

It felt like I almost put the 40 on it's side. (Screen grab of video)

Within about 30mins of being there I managed to get bogged in this really soft silty sand puddle. We used the high lift jack to lift the wheel and chucked some rocks underneath to get out.

Nice Autumn leaves near the camping ground known as Bungleboori.

The entrance to the glow worm tunnel. We forgot the torch but made it through using the lights on our mobile phones.

Brendan as part of the rocks known as the Lost City.

We camped amongst the pine trees and cooked up a nice stir fry for dinner.

The sort of garage you'd park a landrcuiser in. This was on the Blackfellows hand trail.
