Ripping apart the FJ40 for painting preparation

First off was the bonnet, it had some serious rust.

Wasn't sure whether to toss it or fix it.

Fired up the welder and started welding in some new steel.

About 4 pieces of sheet metal went back into it.

Looks shit, but car filler will smooth it out. Treated the other rust with Rust Converter

Started sanding.

Used car filler to get the shape back into it.
